Will The Book Be Used? The truth is, your client may not open that book and work through the exercises unless you send them home with an assignment.

But that does not diminish the value of the book! If the client perceives you as a professional who can be trusted, that goes a long ways. Books (yours or anyone else's) make excellent leave-behind resources.
